The Institute of Uncle Jack

Uncle Jack just got his own institute, appropriately named the Jack F. Kemp Institute for Public Economy at Pepperdine's School of Public Policy. Pepperdine is the recipient of his papers and other records of his accomplishments and work and in addition to maintaining the Kemp archive, will be sponsoring a distinguished visiting chair in his name, as well as hosting lectures and conferences. The photo above is from 1989 when he was sworn in as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development by a prim Sandra Day O'Connor, with a happy George Bush Sr. close at hand. (I think Aunt Joanne is the cutest of the bunch.)

If you're interested in finding out more about democratic capitalism, job creation, free markets, and Judeo-Christian values, or just want to see what fuss is about, then
